The Coca-Cola Pay It Forward Academy is a new educational program that helps moms empower the next generation to succeed. Coca-Cola Pay It Forward Academy will provide a wealth of educational seminars, mentoring sessions, scholarships for college and a three-day retreat in Atlanta, Gerorgia – the home of Coca-Cola's headquarters – to a group of deserving high school teens from across the country.
15 winning teens will be awarded a scholarship award, and 3 days of mentorship, leadership and networking at the Coca-Cola Pay It Forward Academy. Coca-Cola believes that "giving teens the opportunity to excel is just one more way that you can support the next generation and build tomorrow's leaders today."
The program is particularly encouraging teens today to pursue university programs that focus on STEM/STEAM curriculums (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics), which allow minority students (African American, Hispanic, Women) to explore academic and career options where they are traditionally underrepresented.
The program is open to both teens and young adults between the ages of 16-21. Nominators must be 16 years of age or older. Eligible youth also may nominate themselves. Winners will be selected and contacted within two months after the deadline.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
